How do I share my digital business card?
Open CardMeet, tap the QR code icon on your profile, and show it to anyone — they can scan it with their camera. You can also tap your phone against another NFC-enabled device for instant sharing.
Is CardMeet free?
Yes — CardMeet is completely free during our beta period. All features including AI meeting notes, QR scanning, and business card OCR are included at no cost.
How does the AI Note Taker work?
Tap the microphone in the Notes tab. Your voice is transcribed on-device in real-time using iOS Speech Recognition — no audio is ever recorded or sent to any server. Once finished, the text transcript is analysed by Anthropic Claude (via our secure backend) to generate a summary, action items, and key takeaways.
How do I scan a physical business card?
Open the Scan tab, switch to "Business Card" mode, and photograph the card. Our AI (Google Cloud Vision) extracts the name, email, phone, and company automatically.
Can I use NFC to share my card?
Yes. On supported iPhones, tap and hold your phone near another NFC-enabled device to share your card instantly — no QR code needed.
How do I delete my account?
Go to More → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our servers within 30 days.
Why does the app need microphone permission?
The microphone is only used when you start an AI Note Taker session. No audio is stored or transmitted — speech is transcribed live on your device.
How do I export my contacts?
Go to More → Settings → Export Data to download your contacts in CSV or vCard format.
